1. Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Gen Studio (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking our services or using our website genstudio.my, you agree to the following terms:

1.1 Services

  • We provide photography and related services as described on our website or in your booking confirmation.
  • All packages, pricing, and promotions are subject to change without prior notice.

1.2 Booking & Payment

  • Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit (usually 50% unless otherwise stated).
  • The remaining balance must be paid before or on the day of the shoot.

1.3 Copyright & Usage

  • All images remain the intellectual property of Gen Studio.
  • Clients are granted personal, non-commercial usage rights.
  • Commercial usage requires written permission and may incur additional fees.

1.4 Image Delivery

  • Edited images will be delivered within the agreed timeline stated in your package.
  • Raw, unedited files are not provided unless stated in the package or purchased separately.

1.5 Liability

  • We take utmost care to deliver quality work, but in the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., equipment failure, illness, accidents), our liability is limited to rescheduling the shoot or refunding the amount paid.

2.Privacy Policy

2.1 Information We Collect

  • Personal details you provide during booking (name, email, phone number, address).
  • Images taken during photography sessions.

2.2 How We Use Your Information

  • To process bookings and communicate with you.
  • To deliver images and provide after-sales service.
  • With your consent, selected images may be used for portfolio, marketing, and social media promotion.

2.3 Data Protection

  • We store your data securely and do not sell or rent it to third parties.
  • You may request deletion of your personal data and images at any time, except where required by law to retain them.

3. Refund & Return Policy

3.1 Refund Eligibility

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless the cancellation is due to our inability to deliver the service.
  • If you cancel at least 14 days before the scheduled shoot, any amount paid beyond the deposit will be refunded.
  • No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of the shoot date.

3.2 Product Returns

  • Physical products (e.g., photo albums, prints) are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
  • If an item is damaged upon arrival, please contact us within 7 days with photos of the damage for a replacement.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Client Cancellations

  • Written notice is required for all cancellations.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • If you wish to reschedule, please notify us at least 7 days in advance; rescheduling is subject to availability.

4.2 Gen Studio Cancellations

  • In the rare event we need to cancel due to illness, emergencies, or unavoidable circumstances, we will:
    • Offer a reschedule at no extra cost, or
    • Provide a full refund of all amounts paid.

4.3 Force Majeure

  • Neither party shall be liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
